Professional Nursing Validation Company LLC ("PNVC") administers the Professional Validated Nurse (PVN) certification. This policy covers the personal information PNVC collects through pnvc.com and the PVN certification program.

PNVC works with the partners below to deliver the PVN certification. Each partner's policy explains how it handles your information on its platform:

What we collect

When you register for the PVN exam in the PNVC Portal, we collect:

• Name, email, phone, mailing address and date of birth
• RN license number and state, and college transcripts
• Testing accommodation requests and supporting documents, if you make one
• Employer or sponsor affiliation
• Exam results and certification status

If you sign up for our newsletter or contact us, we collect only your name, email, organization and message. You can browse pnvc.com without giving us any personal information.

PNVC does not store payment card numbers.

How we use and share it

We use this information to review eligibility, handle accommodations, administer the exam, issue and renew certifications, and resolve appeals and misconduct reports. We also use it to send account emails and, if you sign up, our newsletter.

We share it only:

• with the partners listed above, to run the certification program
• with an employer or organization that paid your exam fee (your registration status, exam schedule and results)
• with schools or licensing boards to verify credentials during an audit, or with the appropriate authority if information is falsified
• when required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of PNVC

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

pnvc.com is hosted on Squarespace and uses cookies to run the site and measure traffic. See the Squarespace Privacy Policy. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Because we do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites, pnvc.com does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

Retention and security

We keep information while your certification is active and afterward for as long as we need it to verify credentials and meet legal and accounting requirements. Only authorized staff can access it, and our systems use multi-factor authentication.

Your choices

You can update your account information in the PNVC Portal. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, or to use any rights your state law gives you, email info@pnvc.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. For information a partner holds, follow the instructions in that partner's privacy policy.

Other terms

The PVN certification is for U.S.-licensed registered nurses and is not directed to anyone under 18. If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
